Scanning a file in VirusTotal is really simple. All you need to do is open up your web browser, go to VirusTotal.com  website, select the file that you want to upload for scanning and the report will be generated nearly instantly if there are no scan queue in front of you. You can only select one file at a time for scanning and the maximum supported file size is 128MB.

Here are simple steps to scan your files easily 

• Launch VirusTotal Scanner on your system after installation.
• Drag & drop your file or click on browse button to select the file.
• On selecting the file, MD5 and SHA256 hash for the file will be displayed.
• Now click on 'VirusTotal Scan' to perform the scan
• After the successful scan, detailed VirusTotal report is displayed
If file is not found then error message is shown and you will be asked to upload the file manually.

URL Scanner :

The URL scanner will only enqueue for antivirus file scanning those files that are not text or similar formats (HTML, CSV, XML, etc.). Executables, images, music files, etc. will be always enqueued. VirusTotal simply aggregates the output of different antivirus vendors and URL scanners, it does not produce any verdicts of its own.

There is an official desktop tool called VirusTotal Uploader  which helps you to quickly scan your file using VirusTotal without actually uploading the file. It performs direct Hash based scan on VirusTotal thus reducing the time taken to upload the file. How to Sending files to VirusTotal :

With VirusTotal uploader this task could not be easier, just right-click on the file you wish to upload and select the VirusTotal option from the Send To context menu:

You may also run VirusTotal uploader (by clicking on its desktop shortcut icon for example) and click on the Select file(s) and upload button. Even easier, just select the files you want to upload and drag them to VirusTotal Uploader's window.

Xiaomi has announced the new 60-inch 4K Mi TV 3 smart TV in China. It’s a larger (60-inch) version of Xiaomi’s smart TV with a LG 4K display. Mi TV 3 is comprised of 2 separated parts: the display itself and the speaker box, which does all the work, unlike other smart Tvs that come with built-in speakers in the device’s chassis, the processors and the circuit card for the MiTv are located in the speakers. The TV connects to the speaker box via a single cable, and all your other sources connect to the speaker box instead of the TV They can be upgraded respectively.

The speaker box unit all the ports above. The main logic board is inside the speaker box as well, along with two 2.5-inch woofers and single dome tweeter on either side for each channel. The box also has three HDMI inputs (no confirmation if they're 1.4 or 2.0), USB 3.0 + USB 2.0 ports, VGA input, Ethernet, AV in, RF in, and sub-woofer out. The system runs on Android 5.1 but uses Xiaomi's custom UI instead of Android TV.
